Henry will walk awayIf he thought Arsenal were going backwards, Thierry Henry insists he would walk away from the club.
Henry accepts the Gunners are suffering a “poor” campaign and now their only hope of silverware this season is the FA Cup.
However the Frenchman is also adamant it is merely a blip.
He said: “Nothing could make me leave for the moment — only if they were to count on moving me on or if I lost my place.
“I think we can go higher still with Arsenal, otherwise I would leave.
“We can do a lot of things here. A huge number of things.
“OK, we have had a poor season because people were waiting for us to do even better than last year.
“You live through your success and, sometimes, you get turned on through it. Doing better than being unbeaten champions is hard.
“The way was the Champions League but we had our bad run like every year.
“But Arsenal is a family club and you don’t know if you are going to find that elsewhere.
“I have always said I’ve felt good here.
“Nothing serious has happened to me since I arrived at Arsenal but you never know.
“If some crazy thing happened to me, I don’t know how I’d react.
“But, at the moment, I am there, I am happy and I have a good feeling with the manager.”
