Gonzalez expecting tough time at AnfieldNew Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez has played down his chances of making an immediate impact at Anfield.
Reds boss Rafa Benitez has agreed a deal with the winger's club Albacete and he will arrive at Anfield in January.
Gonzalez has been hailed as the man to add genuine width to Benitez's squad and many expect him to play a prominent role for The Reds next year.
However, the winger does not share this opinion and is not expecting to make an immediate impact.
He declared: "I don't think that I will be a regular player at Liverpool,
"I suppose that the coach is going to make me wait some time.
"I know full well that it's not going to be easy for me to win a place in the team.
"And if I have the luck of winning a place in the team, it's not going to be easy to keep it.
"I will have to work very hard because Liverpool is a very competitive team."
