Zamora to fight for positionHammers striker Bobby Zamora has again dismissed rumours of a move away from Upton Park and declared that he is ready to fight for his spot in the starting line up this season.
Zamora said: “It’s only going to improve us having signed Carlton Cole. He’ll provide fierce competition for all the strikers.
“I thought I proved myself against the other forwards last season.
“It never crossed my mind to leave West Ham.”
