Wright out to prove his worthEverton goalkeeper Richard Wright wants to prove he is worth the Goodison number one spot.
Nigel Martyn's impressive form means Wright has been out in the cold in recent months but Martyn is expected to miss Sunday's clash at Manchester United and next week's home match against West Ham with a groin injury.
The former Arsenal keeper said: "I have waited a long time for this and I want to keep the jersey.
"Not playing has been so frustrating. It's bad news for Nigel but this is my chance, that's football."
