Villa target Rangers star

Glasgow Rangers' Croatian striker Dado Prso has been identified by Aston Villa as a potential summer transfer target.

BBC Scotland believes that the Midlands club are willing to pay in the region of £3.5m for the player who signed on a Bosman from Monaco last summer.

Prso has been one of Alex McLeish's most successful acquisitions, scoring 19 goals this season.

Rangers have not commented on the matter thus far.
