Villa target £3million defender

Fulham's out-of-favour England defender Zat Knight could be the target of a £3million transfer bid by Aston Villa.

Knight was back in the Fulham side at Middlesbrough last weekend for the first time since he was axed for being out clubbing before a game.

However, Coleman is looking for a new centre-half next month and Knight will be sacrificed to bring cash into the coffers.
