Villa striker worth the wait?After a two-year chase for the striker, Aston Villa boss boss David O'Leary hopes Kevin Phillips proves to be worth the wait.
He said: "When I first came here, I had £4m to spend and went for Gavin McCann and Thomas Sorensen. If I'd had more, I'd have gone for Kevin.
"The lad has got plenty of experience, scores goals and he'll do a good job for us."
