Villa striker in derby returnAston Villa striker Kevin Phillips has set his sights on playing in the Midlands derby against Birmingham City this weekend.
The former England striker successfully came a friendly with Notts County on Tuesday.
Phillips has missed the last four games with a calf problem, but he is confident of being fit for the Second City derby on Sunday.
Phillips told the club's official website: "Hopefully, I'll be 100 percent fit for that,
"I've got a good record in derbies, I scored the winner for Southampton against Portsmouth last season and I've scored the winner for Sunderland against Newcastle a couple of times, so hopefully I can do the same at St Andrews."
