Vieira congratulates rivals MilanInter Milan star Patrick Vieira has congratulated city rivals AC Milan for their performances in the Champions League this season but does doubt their participation in the competition.
Vieira told Reuters: “I want to pay my compliments to Milan who deserved to reach the Final,”
“However, I still do not understand how they were allowed to play the Champions League after what happened last year.”
“In any case, they proved their value on the pitch. I don’t want to say they didn’t deserve to reach the Final, they defeated all the sides they faced and that is a fact.
“We are sorry we were not able to do the same, but that belongs to the past. Winning will be next year’s objective,”
