Veteran says no to hot-seatCharlton veteran Chris Powell says has no intentions of stepping into the managerial hot-seat at The Valley just yet.
The 36 year old declared: "Some people are saying I am going to be the new boss, but no chance.
"The boys have been calling me 'uncle' all year, now they are starting to call me 'boss'.
"It is way too early for something like that.
"I know Chris Coleman sort of got shoved into the position at Fulham, but I cannot see that here.
"We are too big, have got too big of a fan base and there is too much going on.
"Also it is too early for me to think about something like that because I still want to play.
"Whoever comes in, I am sure [chairman] Richard Murray and all the directors will make the right decision."
