Utd look to sign star

Alex Ferguson is keen to tie Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to a new contract at Manchester United.

Ferguson said: "We have to pay attention to his age and it depends how he does next season.

"But he was a terrific addition to our squad last season, his form was superb," added Ferguson.
