United star wants to stayManchester United defender Mikael Silvestre says he wants to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
Even though Silvestre feels that it is a shame Michael Essien went to Stamford Bridge he is happy with his own form and would like to extend his spell in Manchester.
He told L'Equipe: "We are only looking for someone in the midfield,
"To replace, little by little, Roy Keane.
"He can hardly play every three days now.
"The club was following Essien but he became too expensive."
He added: "Juventus are my favorites for the Champions League,
"However, if we get everyone back soon, we can achieve something.
"I have had a good start to the season. I feel at ease here.
"I am here for three years and I would like to prolong that.
"I play in the centre of defence and it is really my position."
