United return with £6m

Manchester United are reported to have returned to Deportivo La Coruna with an improved £6m bid for midfielder Aldo Duscher.

The Mirror says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson regards the Deportivo La Coruna midfielder as the perfect long-term replacement for Roy Keane.

Both United and Newcastle have had £5million bids rejected but Ferguson has stepped up his attempts to sign him during the January transfer window.
