Toffees star pulled outEverton manager David Moyes has pulled Simon Davies out of Wales' match with Cyprus in Limassol next Wednesday.
Davies sustained a hamstring strain in Sunday's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough and Moyes insists he will not be available for the "meaningless friendly".
Moyes, who has only recently welcomed Davies back from injury, also questioned the wisdom of arranging the match saying : "Wales have a meaningless friendly in Cyprus at this stage of the season.
"What is that all about? What is the point of that? Simon Davies has an injury and will not be going on that trip."
