Teemu wants mantleFinnish midfielder Teemu Tainio is looking to take over the aggressive role in the Tottenham Hotspur team if team-mate Edgar Davids decides to leave the club this month.
He said: "If Edgar is leaving, I am happy to take on the mantle of being the tough tackler because that is my game.
"I like to be aggressive, so I hope I can help my team.
"I think my best position is in the middle and with the amount of games we are playing, I am getting my chance.
"We particularly need to be more aggressive in away matches because that is why we haven't been doing that well on the road."
