Stubbs wary of wounded RoversEverton defender Alan Stubbs has urged his team to be wary of a wounded Blackburn side when the two sides meet tonight.
Speaking to Everton TV Stubbs said: "They had a disappointing result at Portsmouth and we have to be ready for a backlash. We will have to make sure we start well, take the game to them and build on Saturday.
"Mark (Hughes) has done a great job and quietly got on with it. Their midfield is strong and they have added up front at the back so Saturday was a surprise. We have to make sure we are ready for the backlash."
"Saturday wasn't the performance we would have liked but when you consider we haven't won on the opening day for 10 years it is a good start.
"It would be good to carry on after Saturday and then take a good result to Tottenham."
