Spurs winger targetedTottenham winger Wayne Routledge is being chased by ‘another club’ according to Fulham manager Chris Coleman.
Routledge, 21, is on a season long loan deal at Fulham and the Cottagers have already expressed their desire to keep the former Crystal Palace man at the club on a permanent basis but have been unable to agree terms with Spurs who have subsequently asked for the player to end his loan spell early and return to North London.
Fulham manager Chris Coleman has expressed his thoughts on the matter and thinks that Tottenham only want the player back to broker a deal with another club.
Coleman said: "Spurs want to take him back, but only because they plan to do a deal with another club,"
"We are keen to keep Wayne. He has done really well and he has settled in.
"He doesn't want to go to the clubs Spurs are talking about, he wants to stay with us.
"We're hopeful we can do a deal."
