Spurs stopper gets backing

Under pressure Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has been backed to overcome his form slump by manager Martin Jol.

Jol told the Daily Express: "Robinson said in the dressing room 'It's my mistake' and held his hands up for the first goal,"

"But he is pretty confident and apart from the awful situation against Croatia, he has not conceded any goals in qualifying for England. He will be fine."
