Spurs play waiting game

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be holding out for an offer close to £4million before they consider releasing winger Andy Reid for a move to Sunderland

Black Cats manager Niall Quinn said: "Spurs know the position we’re in and are playing a smart game.

"But it could be that we have to look somewhere else because we can’t be taken to the cleaners."
