Spokesman: Becks is goingDavid Beckham will not look at the possibility of staying at Real Madrid and will move to the LA Galaxy as planned.
Beckham has responded to comments made by Real President Ramon Calderon suggesting he was going to meet with the club to see if he can activate a clause in his contract to stay in Spain.
A spokesman for Beckham said: "David is looking forward to going to LA - but he wants to end his career at Real Madrid on a high note first, by winning the league."
LA Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas added: "Nothing has changed. We can't wait for Beckham to get here and we hope he is coming off the back of a La Liga Championship.
"He is excited about coming here and he is ready for the challenge and the adventure.
"Calderon's comment about Real keeping Beckham is benign. As far as that is concerned, that ship has sailed."
