Southgate thrilled with victoryNew Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate ha expressed his delight following the exciting 2-1 victory of Champions Chelsea yesterday.
He said: "To recover from that (Reading) in the way that they did and to play the way they have tonight shows a lot of guts,"
"To recover from going a goal down showed tremendous character and that's what we are going to need to take us forward.
"They played ever so well and I am just very proud of them.
"Of course it's very pleasing, and the manner of it, coming from behind, was very special.
"Thankfully, we did not have too long to have to hold on."
