Simpson rues Gunner decision

Preston North End manager Paul Simpson has admitted his disappointment to have missed out on Arsenal youngster Nicklas Bendtner at the start of the season.

Simpson said: "It doesn’t make me feel good when I tell you we had Bendtner coming here.

"Arsenal wanted him to come, but he chose Birmingham because his pal Seb Larsson was going there."
