Should Stam wear a wig?Despite being heavily criticised following the club's disappointing start to the Serie A season, AC Milan defender Jaap Stam has scotched rumours he is ready to quit the club.
The Italian giants have picked up just four points from their opening three games of the campaign, and Dutch defender Stam has been blamed by sections of the media and the support as Milan have leaked four goals so far.
Stam told the club's official website: "I have never thought of leaving AC Milan,
"It's not fair that every time there's a mistake made, I am the one who is to blame.
"Is it because my head is noticed more than that of the rest of my team-mates? Maybe I should wear a wig.
"I know that I must do better but perhaps a lot is expected of me. We simply have to believe in ourselves because we have quality."
