Shevchenko season over

Chelsea have confirmed that hit-man Andrei Shevchenko will not play in the FA Cup final due to injury.
 
Shevchenko was scheduled to have surgery on his troublesome groin at the end of the season but this has now been brought forward and the former AC Milan man will undergo a hernia operation this week.
