Seedorf: It will be difficult to replace himDutch playmaker Clarence Seedorf has admitted that the exit of Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea will be a big loss but is still optimistic about the club’s prospects next season despite the recent Calciopoli ruling.
He said: “On the pitch I never noticed any advantage or disadvantage from the referees,”
“It’s useless to talk about Calciopoli now. Everything could change, for now we can only hope.”
When asked about team-mate Kaka he said: “I spent two days on holiday with him and I can tell you that he’s thinking about what’s the best move for him,”
“I do know however that the club has tried to keep its’ best players.”
On the loss of Shevchenko he said: “It will be difficult to replace him, we all need to lend a hand going forward given that we’ve lost a player who can guarantee 20 goals a season.”
