Scholes: I'm still enjoying itManchester United veteran Paul Scholes says he is still enjoying playing for the Red Devils following his 500th appearance for the club against Liverpool.
Scholes said: "It was quite special, playing for Manchester United is a big thing,"
"I'm still enjoying it as much as ever, probably more than I have done.
"The last few games I've gone well and managed to get forward, get some chances and it's a good feeling.
"It's just another game we needed to win to stay at the top of the table.
"People have milestones all the time and we were just concentrating on winning the game and that's what we managed to do."
On his goal against the Merseyside giants he added: "I hadn't scored for a while as you probably know,"
"I got one in midweek and another one today but as long as the team win it doesn't really matter who scores."
"I suppose it is, especially against teams like Liverpool,"
"They're normally quite solid defensively but today I've managed to sneak in and get a goal.
"I think we've played better over the last couple of weeks but I still think we were quite comfortable, never looked like conceding a goal and we were dangerous going forward as well."
He concluded: "We're not going to get carried away.
"We'll just keep plugging away, playing well week in week out creating chances, scoring goals and hopefully we can stay up there."
