Savage: I’ve had the last laughBlackburn midfielder Robbie Savage was carried off on a stretcher in the dying moments of the dramatic 4-3 win over Manchester United at Ewood Park on Wednesday following a late, high challenge by United star Rio Ferdinand.
Savage said: “I enjoyed playing against a centre-half in midfield.
"I knew I could get the better of him in there because he’s not a central midfield player.
