Rovers midfielder pleased with outcomeBlackburn Rovers midfielder David Bentley has expressed his happiness to have signed a new deal at the club.
The former Arsenal youngster said: "In a couple of months of negotiations, I'm really happy it's been sorted out,"
"I'm just looking to kick on in my career, hopefully I'll improve as a player and get better, and hopefully the benefits will be for Blackburn.
"You see what happens on a Saturday, I enjoy the game and I enjoy coming into the building every day.
"I'm in a good place in my life at the minute and I didn't want to change that."
On the potential of the current Rovers squad, Bentley added: "There's quality in the team, we've got quality, determined players who want to improve.
"The management staff are all pushing in the right direction.
"We've been a bit unlucky with injuries this year and hopefully next season we are really going to make a push."
