Rooney thrilled to net winnerManchester United striker Wayne Rooney could not hide his delight following his injury time winner against AC Milan yesterday.
He said: "It was a great feeling,"
"It was a difficult match but we kept going to the end and knew that if we could get a victory it would make it that little bit easier when we go to the away leg.
"One goal behind at half-time to a good Milan team, we knew it would be difficult to get the win and the manager said at half-time to keep pushing and we will get goals at the end and we managed to do that.
"It is a great boost for us, it has been a long season so far and to win like that after being 2-1 down and the Italians are known for being great defenders it is brilliant."
