Roeder thrilled with star formNewcastle manager Glenn Roeder has praised the European performance of winger Damien Duff.
He said: “Last Thursday was Damien’s best game since we brought him to the club
“The lad has got great ability and this is something he is never going to lose and everyone accepts just what a good player he is.
"Like a lot of our players, he has had a bad injury this season, but now he’s looking as though he’s getting over the knee problems he picked up at Arsenal in November.
“And I have to say that he has been fantastic and he has been flying in training this week.”
