Robson on Kirkland injuryReports that 'keeper Chris Kirkland's back problem has flared up again have been dismissed by West Brom manager Bryan Robson.
Kirkland underwent major surgery on his back at Liverpool midway through last season before joining Albion for the 2005-2006 campaign on loan.
The former England stopper pulled out of training with the Baggies on Monday but suggestions that the problem he encountered at Anfield had recurred have been played down.
However, Robson said: "Chris felt a bit stiff in training on Monday so he came off early as a precaution. We checked him out on Tuesday morning and it is only a minor thing.
"It is totally unrelated to the back injury he had before and he should be fully fit for the weekend when we entertain Charlton."
