Reds star: I'm happy at Anfield

Spanish playmaker Xabi Alonso has dismissed any speculation linking him with a return to Spain next season.

"It doesn't affect me - my head is solely on Liverpool," said Alonso.

"I have a contract with them until June 2009 and I am happy there.

"The option of returning to Spain is always there, but for the time being it is not one of my priorities."
