Red Devils in for VidukaSir Alex Ferguson is reportedly interested in making a move for Aussie hot-shot Mark Viduka this summer.
Viduka, who has left for a holiday in his native Australia, has recently rejected a two-year, £40,000-a- week deal from Middlesbrough and is believed to be looking to make the step up to play European football again next season.
Middlesbrough chief Keith Lamb said: “He is playing well enough to attract other interest and it may be that he wants to listen to the other offers.”
Newcastle United have also been heavily linked to the 31-year-old.
