Real star: Contract closeReal Madrid star Roberto Carlos has revealed that he is close to agreeing a new deal at the club.
Speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena he said: "I want to stay. We're close to reaching an agreement, which would be my last contract."
"I spoke with people representing other clubs who had great offers, but my future is in Spain with Real Madrid.
"I want to give back to Real Madrid everything they have given me. I've watched English football on television, but I prefer Spanish football."
