Ramos: Kanoute is a great player

New Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has praised the ability of former Spurs and current Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute.

He told Marca: "Kanoute is a great player. At Sevilla, he was always great value and would be for any team,"

"I don't know what happened (when he was at Tottenham). I can only talk about what he did at Sevilla, and he was extraordinary."
