A statement on the Lyon web site read: "Olympique Lyonnais is astonished that a false value of Sidney Govou has been announced by affirming a figure of €5 million as a likely amount for a possible transfer,"
"The value of an international attacker like Sidney Govou is obviously much higher, around €10 million, considering his qualities, his status and the titles he has won."
