Pompey star waiting for England callPortsmouth goalkeeper David James is hoping to be named in the next Steve McClaren England squad following the tough week the team have had in Euro 2008 qualification.
James, 36, said: “I’ve not seen it myself (The second goal against Croatia) but from what people have told me I’d not wish it on anyone.
“That said, it has given me another chance. If I am asked then I will be ready for it. I would be delighted to resume my international career.”
