Pompey star looking to returnPortsmouth midfielder Pedro Mendes is hoping to return from injury for the upcoming match against Wigan Athletic.
He said: "I'm feeling good, everything was fine with my scans and the neurologist was happy with everything.
"I just want to forget what happened and move on.
"There is no pain in my back, although my neck was sore, but now all that has gone and I'm ready to train and play again.
"I'll hope to get fit for the Wigan game."
