Pompey boss blasts DutchmanPortsmouth boss Alain Perrin has blasted Arjan De Zeeuw before he makes the switch to Wigan later this week.
De Zeeuw lost his place as Pompey skipper to new signing Andy O'Brien and Perrin revealed: "Arjan said because he is an older player he should be in every game. But it was up to Arjan to prove he was the best man for the job."
The Dutchman will be one of eight Wigan new boys chasing a place against Chelsea on Sunday.
