Phillips on a haunting missionAston Villa striker Kevin Phillips is ready to go back to the North East and haunt his former club when he returns to Sunderland on Saturday.
The former Black Cats favourite is intent on adding to Mick McCarthy's problems when they entertain fellow strugglers Aston Villa this weekend.
Phillips said: "It's going to be weird running out at the Stadium of Light in a Villa kit. It is sad to see Sunderland struggling.
"It's going to be a massive game for both clubs."
