Phillips looking forward to partnershipNew West Bromwich Albion signing Kevin Phillips is looking forward to forming an exciting new partnership with Wales hit-man John Hartson.
He said: "When I saw in the summer that John had joined, before I even considered leaving Villa, I thought 'that's a good signing',"
"John's proved what a great striker he is and I've always enjoyed working alongside a big centre-forward.
"There's no reason why it can't work here which, I'm sure, is why the manager bought me."
In regards to Nathan Ellington (the other striker at the club) Phillips added: "Nathan has great pace. I'm not guaranteed a start, but every centre-forward will tell you that you need competition for places."
