Pahars continues comebackSouthampton striker Marian Pahars will take a giant step on the road to recovery when he appears in the Saints reserves on Tuesday night.
The Latvian has not played a first-team game for the South Coast club all season - following a succession of persistent ankle problems.
The 28-year-old attempted a similar return against Fulham's reserves back in December, but was forced out of the contest after just 15 minutes.
Pahars is unlikely to start Saints' clash against Chelsea, but is sure to see some playing time off the bench against The Blues.
