O'Neill could sign veteranAston Villa manager Martin O'Neill has hinted that he may offer 33-year-old midfielder Patrik Berger a new deal at the club.
"I do not have any time here to be holding grudges with people and I've no time to be sentimental either," said O'Neill.
"But I will certainly be speaking to Patrik.
"This is as fit as he has been now for a couple of seasons. He laboured here last year. He was never fit and I am sure he was thinking of packing it in.
"This is the best it has been in terms of fitness. He hasn't started a league game for us but his contribution has been there to see."
