O’Neill: He needed a restAston Villa manager Martin O’Neill has reassured striker Juan Pablo Angel regarding his future at the club following his omission of the striker in the last two matches.
O’Neill said: “Juan still has a big part to play. The new signings don’t affect his position at all.
“He’s played in every game apart from the last two against Reading and West Ham.
“Juan needed a rest, he’s been playing with a niggle for a while.”
