NEWSFLASH: Rafa in shock moveAjax ace Rafael van der Vaart has shocked club bosses with the news that he wants to leave the club in the summer.
The Dutch international is keen to leave The Amsterdam Arena for a new challenge.
Ajax director Van Eijden said: "We know that he doesn't want to sign a new contract and through his agent (Soren Lerby) he has informed us that he wants to leave Ajax.”
Van der Vaart was spotted in Hamburg last weekend with his agent watching the German side play Borussia Monchengladbach fuelling speculation over a move to the AOL Arena.
