Newcastle striker ready to shineAfter sorting out his mental approach to the game, Toon striker Shola Ameobi says he is ready to take the Premiership by storm.
After he capped a superb display with a goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over Sunderland Ameobi said: "I know what I can do. It's so frustrating when it doesn't happen. There's definitely something mental in there that's stopping me from doing it, and that's what I'm trying to address.
"I'm seeing people. It's something I'm working on.
"If I can get that confidence up you will see a Shola Ameobi you haven't seen. I'm certain this is the starting point of showing people what I can do."
