Newcastle deny reportsNewcastle United manager Glenn Roeder has reiterated his desire to hold onto Irish flanker Damien Duff after speculation suggested he was looking to exit St James' Park.
"He has swapped life in London for life in Northumberland. He's on his own for long periods as his girlfriend has just qualified as a GP in Dublin," said Roeder.
"We have to be patient. With his attitude and personality, what he achieved at Blackburn will come flooding back.
"It's ridiculous to suggest he could move on. Class is forever, and that's what he's got. It's up to us and him to squeeze that out of him."
