Murphy makes Tottenham debutFormer Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has played his first match in a Tottenham jersey. The talented middle man appeared in an arranged reserves friendly match against Derby County.
Reserve team manager Clive Allen said: “It was a chance for Danny to get involved with the lads in a match situation. He's had a little time himself where he's been without a game so it was a productive 45 minutes for him. He came through it fine as did everyone else and that's always a relief.”
