Mourinho sweating on starChelsea manager Jose Mourinho has expressed his concerns regarding the fitness of playmaker Joe Cole who injured his knee while playing a match against the MLS all stars during the Blues pre-season tour of the United States.
Mourinho said: “Joe is a real problem and everybody is worried. He has done something to his knee, so we will have to wait for some examinations. But he is really injured.”
“Joe is a good player with his movement and his quality and a player I don’t have elsewhere in the squad. He is special.
“If you were given the choice of losing 10-0 and having no problem with Joe Cole, then I would take that option. We don’t want injuries, especially in pre-season.”
