Morientes singled outAfter his side's comfortable 3-0 win over Anderlecht last night Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez singled out striker Fernando Morientes for praise.
Morientes got on the scoresheet with a well-taken goal against Anderlecht at Anfield and Rafa said: "I'm delighted, they played well and scored three good goals,
"One came from Fernando, which is important for him and us. We have three more points and a lot of confidence."
Benitez also warned his players not to take qualification for the next stage of the Champions League for granted with victory over Betis still needed to be sure.
He added: "We still need to play Betis, and I know they are very good away from home,
"They have very quick strikers and we need to be very aware of what is needed.
"If we win we will have qualified, but I do not want to say yet that we are there."
